CSDEA's Parkside Dressage Show to offer Breed Awards!

The Parkside Dressage Show is July 7 and 8 at Alpine Farms in Long Lake and this year will offer Breed Awards.

The ISR/Oldenburg NA Registry, the American Hanoverian Society, and the American Trakehner Association will all be providing overall high point ribbons. For the Oldenburg and Trakehner ribbons the horses must be registered with the above organizations. For the Hanoverian ribbon the horse can be either American or German bred. Please send in a copy of your horse’s papers with your entry or submit at check in during the show.

This year the show is a United States Dressage Federation recognized show.  Opening date is May 18 and the closing date is June 15.  We are anticipating a lot of interest again so plan on getting your entries in as close to the opening date as possible.

New Health Requirements:
Alpine will be requiring a health certificate for every horse. So, make sure you are up to date on your Coggins (current year) and flu/rhino vaccinations (within 7 to 90 days before the show date.) Normal rectal temperatures will be required for the 3 days prior to the show. And, you must certify that your horse has had no known illness exposure in the 30 days prior to the show. Health certificates will be mailed out with entry confirmations before the show.

The health certificate must be presented at the time of check in or you will not be able to compete.

Any questions regarding the show or if you would like to volunteer, please e-mail or call Jen Havice. jhavice@hotmail.com 763-476-3021.
