This is a two-day eventing clinic. The first day will focus on stadium course work and exercises that range from starter to preliminary levels. The second day will focus on cross country including obstacles such as ditches, banks, and a water complex. Lucy Lammer’s Hollow Creek Farm has a wide variety of cross-country fences ranging from starter through training level height with the ability to make modified and prelim questions.
Hollow Creek Farm is an 80-acre farm with a fabulous well-maintained cross-country field owned and operated by Lucy Lammer. HCF is open 7 days a week to encourage riders to come practice and enjoy! There are also ‘hunt trails’ through the woods for more varied natural jumps. A new grass schooling arena may be used for stadium schooling or lunging and last year a full-sized dressage grass arena was added that can used for dressage or stadium clinics. Riders and horses will have access to bathroom facilities and water for horses including a wash stall. Easy field trailer parking can handle larger rigs with ease – there are no electric hookups, but generators are welcome. A restaurant overlooking the golf course is a ½ mile away.
For this clinic there are 10 outside panel stalls available on a first sign up first receive base. Also, we can board a few horses in the fields – let us know, we’ll figure out how to accommodate everyone. Those who ride both days get preferential stall avail.
A wait list will be started if the clinic is filled. No refunds for cancelation unless your spot can be filled, we will attempt this from the waitlist first. If there is no waitlist, then you will be responsible to fill your spot.
Appropriate safety gear must be worn during this clinic. Proper riding attire, boots, certified helmet, and vest for cross country.
Please arrive warmed up and ready to ride for your clinic ride time.
